PROBLEM:

Pinch roller arm assembly gums up at the pivot point.

SOLUTION:

The gumming up of the arm assembly at the pivot point is due to the material used by the original manufacturer. Try replacing the pinch roller arm assembly  with an Athan pinch roller arm assembly. Athan has the whole arm assembly hard plated to avoid this problem.
