Ampex VPR-6 & VPR-2B scanner refurbishing with new harder surface for longer life. 


Our superior surface hardening process and precision machining techniques assure longer life expectancy. Our refurbishing service comes with an 18 month warranty and includes:

  • Resurface upper & lower scanner with NEW hard surface
  • Balance scanner
  • Install high grade bearings
  • Install new entrance/ exit pin guides


During the final check, the scanner is tested and adjusted to the specifications on its corresponding video machine.
