  • Machine and lap the top of the guide post to remove cuts caused by tape
  • Hone and polish the guide roller to remove all imperfections that cause tape skewing
  • Machine and lap the bottom of the guide post to remove cuts caused by tape
  • Lap the guide post shaft to provide a smoother surface for the tape guide to turn
